Dear Gauteng Community,
Please remember in your prayers Carol Little who died on Tuesday 5th May. We extend our deepest sympathy to her family, may she rest in eternal peace.
The Gauteng Team met on Sunday this past week and finalised some dates for the year. Please note there have been some changes to the dates mentioned in the last newsletter.
23rd May Pentecost Prayer Formation Day 10h00-15h30
5th-6th June Leadership Course at Mandy Jones’ house
18th July Prayer Formation Day
17th – 26th September CLC 8 day Retreat
17th October Formation Prayer Day
14th November Formation Prayer Day
3rd December CLC Commitment Celebration - Feast of St Frances Xavier
Pentecost Prayer Formation Day 23rd May
This will take place at Roma Carter’s house:

Fr Anthony will lead the day and we will celebrate Pentecost Mass as well, as this is a Sunday.
Please bring something for a shared lunch.
Leadership Course 5-6th June – 09h00-17h00
Sabie and Jane will be conducting this in June so that we may benefit from their skills and knowledge gained at the Nairobi Leadership Course in November last year. There is a cost of R250 to cover expenses such as the cost of the flight coming up from Cape Town. This cost will be shared with National as Jane has combined the Course with her visit to the National Assembly in Botswana. Fr Graham, Veronica Miller and Sabie will also be attending the Botswana Assembly.
Please diarise this date as we want as many to do the course as possible. Let me know by email or phone on 011 616 3348 or cell 083 473 9688 if you want to do the course. There are subsidies available if needed.
We will hold this at Mandy’s house in Kensington and we ask people to bring a packed lunch.
